On Saturday I headed down to The Watersplash to photograph this years Peas & Glove event.

Sun, tunes, good people and a great cause…

“Here we stand united as a community armed with positivity, healing energy, awareness and love for the progress of one incredibly special human. We are “Peas and Glove” a foundation aptly named after one of Olly’s most sacred sayings; Peace and Love.

Since February 2015 we have been actively raising funds for Olly’s future needs and wellbeing, after the young talented musician, skater and surfer was left in a critical condition following a car accident.

This incredible foundation was initiated by a small group of friends, which has grown from the seed of an acorn into an all mighty oak tree. That has branched out not only to the community of the Channel Islands, but beyond to surfers and musicians alike, inspired by the spirit of Olly and all he entails.

The http://www.gofundme.com/vqaswk link is constantly active and know that every single penny donated will continue to pave the road to recovery that we commit our efforts and energies into with every campaign.

On the 30th May 2k15 we started our own Peas and Glove – PERMANENT OLLYDAY – From Surf & skate events, live acoustic music, motorbike stunts, trials bike demos, to live art. An incredible weekend in all its glory, an all day party with every single fundraiser inspired by Olly’s laid back lifestyle; Peace and Love.

Our belief in the power of positive energy in his recovery is extremely important and close to our hearts. We would like to our extend our thanks to you on behalf of Olly for your support and compassion.

A tree no matter how tall is only as strong as its roots.
