I was scrolling through Facebook one day and came across a photographer I followed who’d had their work stolen and sold online by a website called wallpart.com.

Copyright is always with the photographer – even if they post it in the public domain – but photographers should be careful not to upload high resolution images as then they risk their work being duplicated and sold without their consent.

Just for ‘fun’ I went on to the site and typed in my name.

I was pretty shocked to see that they were in fact selling my images!

I hadn’t even sold these images yet here was a website charging $5.95 for posters!

I destressed myself when I remembered that I’d only uploaded low resolution images which means that the quality of any print would be very poor but still, a pretty annoying find.
