Sea Swimming Blog #19

Day 57 Sea Swimming.
#19 of the blog.
I went to town early to pick up a smaller pair of gloves from Apnea as my original pair leaked a bit too much for my liking.
As I was in town I went to Havre des Pas for my swim… it was grey & a bit windy so the pool was a little choppy with poor visibility… I took the underwater camera in but didn’t end up with anything great… it happens.
However, the new smaller gloves were a much better fit than others with barely any water being let in which meant my hands and fingers were not freezing at the end.
To make up for the lack of a photo earlier I decided to head to Le Pulente at sunset… the wind had picked up even more and the tide was nearly full so I anticipated rough seas.
I arrived to find exactly that, with the gulls darting and diving amongst the froth and foam of the raging waves… I took a few photos then experimented with some slow exposures and a bit of camera movement to evoke a sense of mood.

the waves are waving,
the ocean provides
the stillness I'm craving”
